Specialized dentistry. Personalized care.
Just because you are missing one or more teeth doesn’t mean you can’t have a functional, attractive smile. The answer may be dental implants. Many consider dental implants to be among the best options when replacing a single tooth or even an entire row of teeth.
The All-on-4 procedure offers a reliable and efficient solution for restoring a full set of teeth, providing significant improvements in function, aesthetics, and quality of life for patients.
“Teeth in a Day”
The term "Teeth in a Day" is often used to describe the All-on-4 dental implant procedure because it highlights one of the most appealing features of the treatment: patients can receive a full set of functional, aesthetically pleasing teeth in a single day.
-
"All-on-4" is a dental implant procedure that offers a solution for people who are missing a significant number of teeth. The technique uses four dental implants to support a full arch of teeth, either upper or lower. These implants are strategically placed in the jawbone to maximize support and stability.
-
First Visit: A thorough examination, including X-rays and possibly 3D imaging, is completed to assess your suitability for dental implants.
Day of Surgery: Treatment is completed in just a few hours. Post-surgery pain is minor and can usually be treated with over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen. Most patients can expect to resume normal activities the next day.
Temporary Dentures: A temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants on the same day or shortly after the surgery, allowing the patient to leave the office with a full set of functioning teeth.
Healing Period: Over the next few months, the implants integrate with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration.
Final Restoration: After the implants have fully integrated, a permanent set of teeth is custom-made and attached to the implants.
Follow-up Care: Unlike other dental implant centers, we encourage supportive maintenance visits. Our specialists recommend patients visit every six months for a routine follow-up to have their dental implants thoroughly cleaned and properly examined.
-
Immediate Functionality: Patients can leave the dental office with a full set of functioning teeth on the same day as the surgery.
Stability and Comfort: The fixed nature of the implants provides more stability and comfort compared to traditional dentures.
Bone Preservation: Implants help preserve the jawbone, preventing the bone loss that typically occurs with missing teeth.
Improved Aesthetics: The permanent teeth look and feel more natural.
-
Candidacy: Not all patients are suitable candidates for the All-on-4 procedure. Factors such as bone density, overall health, and oral hygiene habits play a role in determining eligibility.
Cost: The procedure can be expensive, although it might be more cost-effective than individual implants for each missing tooth.
Maintenance: While the implants themselves can last a lifetime with proper care, the attached teeth may need replacement after several years due to wear and tear.
